About Me

The Beginning of my Life

I was born in 1996 in a suburb of Hamburg, Germany's second biggest city into a family with a German mother, Danish father and an older brother. I grew up in the contrast of the big city with its rich culture and the vastness and peacefulness of the suburbs with forrests, a big garden and our horses close to our home.
My childhood included both many resources that gave me chances to unfold my joy for life and gain resilience and also hardships like trauma and a chronic disease from when I was 13 years old to around when I was 18 years old.
This has shown me at a young age the importance of living in my body. I had distanced myself at a young age from my overwhelming feelings in my body. The path to more aliveness and presence started for me as a child whenever I connected more to feeling my own body and finding grounding in the physical world. The fascination with both the physical body and what is beyond it and a deep joy in life accompanies me until this day.

My Exploration in Life

Since my teenage years I have been very curious about what there is beyond the apparent in life. This curiosity has brought me to question my own perspective many times in life and drawn me to explore the world instead of going on a more traditional educational journey.

Some weeks after finishing my highschool degree in Germany, I moved to the Andes in Colombia with support of a program of the German government to volunteer and live in child care place for children who could not live with their own family or had lost their parents. This time in Colombia had me reflect on my own point of view in life, having grown up in central Europe, and also explore Christianity for the first time in my life as I had grown up without much contact to any religion. Even though I do not feel like I identify as a Christian, the experience of this faith has influenced my further journey in life deeply.

After one year in Colombia, I would return to Europe and continue my journey of exploring different languages and cultures. One week after returning, I moved to Denmark and explored the danish culture and language. Even though I feel deeply at home in Scandinavia until this day, I continued to travel the world and explore different faiths on my own journey towards meaning in life.

Educational Background and Lineage

Learning and devoting myself to teachers is one of the big meanings I find in life and has often been a refuge of support for me in times of crisis.

International Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Studies from Roskilde University in Denmark. This education showed me my deep love for philosophy, systemic thinking and sciences. This also deepened my understanding that the world how it exists today is cloming closer to collapse and needs deep restructuring and reconnection. I would feel more and more disconnected from my physical body and my local power when I worked with global systems during my studies and found myself looking for more relational and personal manners to change the world. This is when I found circling in 2018 and it would change my life forever.

Circling and Surrendered Leadership training with Circling Europe since 2020. Since I found the circling practice by chance in December 2018, I have devoted my life deeply to this practice and have allowed it to change my life again and again. Circling has been my entry point into meditation, exploring my consciousness and spirituality as well as leadership. I have been in continued training with Sean Wilkinson and John Thompson from Circling Europe for years now.

Circling is an integral practice that is broad enough to emcompass all aspetcs of life. From spirituality to rationality to embodiment, all of me found space in circling and the integral worldview which since an awakening moment in 2021 has become very significant to me.
